Another "i'm into it" post for your viewing pleasure...
Don't remember where I found the picture below but I saved it a while back because this here represents my ideal home. If I am ever afforded the privilege of building my own house, I shall show this picture to the contractors and say "good sirs/madams, replicate this".
I'd probably have to fly in some cool minimalist European contractors though as I don't know if I'd trust our local Philadelphia union builders who I feel are more disposed to building something like:

NOTE: No offense to actual Philadelphia Union Builders (if there is such a thing)...All in good fun, yes?
